13th-16th November 2007

This was a promotional video for the top ten products in Taiwan! To be shown exclusively on China Airlines and Eva Air. Travelled to Taichung, Taoyuan, Danshwei and Jong-he to make it.

The first scene was in an office showroom where I had to take a shower....in freezing cold water!

The shower cubicle was right next to the main road so an interesting shot for anyone walking past! I had to do the scene a few times, because I didn't look "happy enough". Not suprising as I was doing it through gritted teeth!

The next destination was darkest Jong-He. This traditional restaurant complete with waterfall and golden carp was just a stones throw from a major highway...

Quite a nice place but I couldn't eat the food because it wasn't veggy...had to fake it.

Then it was off to the cycle path that runs along the river from Guandu to Danshwei...racing around on "Giant" bikes

We were hacking up and down the cycle path while the crew tried to get the right shot in the fading light...It's not a bad way to earn a living!

That was the first day over and done with. Went back again two days later for the trip down to Taichung where we booked into the Hotel One.

Everything was going swimmingly well until they asked me to change into my suit. I realised I hadn't brought my shoes! Face all over the floor I had to try on a succession of hotel wallas minty footwear before I could get a pair to fit me! This was followed by a work out in the gym and some messing around with new technology in the bedroom.

Then they had me getting my kit off again lying in bed. I am an artiste you know and Sometimes the scene demands nudity....Can't understand why they wanted me writhing around with a twenty year old nubile chick for half an hour. And what did they mean by "Money Shot?"...A promotional video...how very strange??? I'M ONLY JOKING OK!!! Anyway, That was Taichung and next day it was off to the airport. This was probably the most boring of the three days with all the waiting around...I also forgot to bring my camera...so, nothing to show I'm afraid! But all in all a lorra fun and I'd do this work full time if I could..no worries!
